Acceptable Use & Community Conduct Policy
Introduction
The One Network and the OLGA platform are built on trust, respect, and collaboration. This Acceptable Use & Community Conduct Policy sets out the standards expected of all members when using our services, including the OLGA dashboard, contacting other members, and attending in-person or online networking events.
By joining The One Network, you agree to abide by these rules. Breach of this policy may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of your membership without refund.
1. Purpose
Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and professional environment where members can connect, collaborate, and grow their businesses. All interactions should reflect these values.
2. Using the OLGA Platform
- You may only use OLGA to connect with other members for genuine networking, collaboration, and referrals.
- Do not send spam, bulk messages, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Do not scrape, export, or repurpose member contact data without explicit consent.
- Respect the platform’s limits and features (e.g., pause functions, automatic match caps).
- Keep your profile accurate, professional, and up to date.
- Do not use OLGA for any unlawful, misleading, or harmful purpose.
3. Contacting Other Members
- All contact must be professional, respectful, and relevant to business networking.
- Do not add members to mailing lists or marketing databases without their explicit consent.
- Respect boundaries: if a member declines further contact, do not persist.
- Treat introductions as confidential unless agreed otherwise.
4. Online & In-Person Networking Events
- Be courteous, inclusive, and respectful to all participants.
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Respect event structures and time limits (e.g., not dominating discussions).
- Confidentiality: respect that information shared in events may be sensitive.
- Alcohol or other substances should never impair your behaviour.
5. Breaches & Sanctions
If you breach this policy, The One Network may take any of the following actions:
- Issue a written warning;
- Suspend your access to OLGA or community spaces;
- Remove you from events;
- Terminate your membership without refund.
